iPad data display is currently in one column, top to bottom.

Displaying data for Port and Stbd Marine Engines is awkward. Either on one page from top to bottom or on two pages, one for Port and one for Stbd.

Would it be possible to have 2 columns of data, on the iPad, in Landscape Mode. One on the left and one on the right?

      Thank you in advance.

      Regards,

We did look at this possibility when we originally prepared the iPad version by allowing to display data also on the left view when the iPad is in landscape mode, but we finally did not add it on the release version because we were in a hurry to release the iPad version at the time. After that we have been working on other features, so this never came to light. Said that, we recognize that having more data displayed at a time will be useful for users, specially as you describe, so we will eventually look at it in the future. I appreciate your suggestion.

This would be very valuable, how its acheived is for you to decide, but to maintain consistency of configurations between small and large screen devices, if it could be simply that 2 pages were displayed.
That being, as if you had 2 screens, and the left and right pane could individually select their own pages.

I noticed you are already working on the ability to have variables displayed in a string for label, comment and alike, although that is far more useful in the short term, please don’t disregard this feature request.

We implemented this on the latest version (v. 2.1) already supports this. To use this feature first display the interface showing both left and right columns (for example by turning the iPas to landscape).

On the left panel go to home and then tap on the ‘tag’ icon on the top toolbar. You will be able to scroll to a page on your project independently on the left and right panels.
